All the sudden I'm getting dropped calls

Within the last half hour I'm at 6 dropped calls . It seems that data is also dropping . Any ideas? I'm in an area that's right off the expressway that has towers so I normally have full signal strength

crazy thing is, is my girlfriend lives like 5 miles away and has no problems. I hope its not the phone cause I love it

I had one 3G drop this afternoon sitting in a drive through. Never had an issue I noticed there before. It hasn't done it since, and didn't do it before. There are people saying they are having issues with it however on both 3G and 4G. May depend on the area etc. I believe the rumored mythical 4.1 update or maybe even the 4.0.3 update is supposed to address some of this.

The phone has weak radio. I have set here comparing with my wife's iPhone 4s. Her's is pulling 88 dBm, my nexus is pulling 100 dBm. She is getting almost double the speeds on the speed test app. I just wished I knew if it was software.

More than likely it is. The Charge had the exact same issues in the beginning.

I also was having issues this morning. I live in Ann Arbor Michigan, and placed a call to Verizon tech support. They stated that, atleast in this area, there is an issue going on with both 3g and 4g voice and data and that they were attempting to fix the situation. I decided it wasn't the phone when my moms Iphone started dropping calls and my wifes intesity (dumbphone) also started dropping calls. Seems to be much better now.

Hail to the victors! I'm from the Flint area so it seems to be localized. I'll see how it works when I hit the malls tomorrow.
