im not crying :)
stock battery lasts me 10-15 hours of light to medium use on 4g! :D

I agree with Sokar, this thread is pathetic, you started just to rant about people ranting about battery life? Go find something better to do with your time, if your happy about your battery life because you bought the extended battery, good for you, go gloat to someone who cares. some people cannot use the extended battery due to the need for a case or because of the car dock or whatever the reason.

Well, it's not even that cheeta, it's the fact that are probably 50 seperate threads about the battery, the extended battery, tips on getting the most from the stock battery, tips to get the most from the extended battery, and on and on and on about batteries.

I'm much more amused about the little "first true 4G" dig, but I'm not going to get into a scrape over that fib. Thunderbolt owners have a great phone, likely the best phone out right now. A decent smartphone released within the past year without battery issues in its OEM design is rarer than a unicorn.

I get easily 12 hours of battery life playing alot of words with friends, texting, and checking email so I'm not complaining here but if they come out with a 1800mah battery that fits under the stock battery door I'll buy it.

damn nice!!! what apps you run often? any tips?? glad to find another lover!

nothing special. just followed all the tips on this site. and after 2 weeks the battery and android 2.2 are conditioned.
auto brightness. 1-2 hour sync for apps. lock the phone as soon as ur done with it.
and im not rooted at all.

I have the extended battery. While it lasts, it adds a noticeable amount of heft to the phone. Here's the issue -- why did HTC force everyone to buy an extended battery instead of just making the standard battery an appropriate power size? They made it smaller - yes, even smaller than the EVO for a more powerful phone - so people will spend another $35-50 to buy something they shouldnt need. Don't be a sucker. It's a legit gripe.

This thread is to discuss the extended battery please stay on topic.

Thanks
