Allo looks like spam to recipient?

I sent a couple of texts to people and heard nothing back. So I sent a text to my wife to test and it looked like a spam text. It was from some short 4-5 digit number and not my number. It was alerting her that she could install Allo on her phone and at the bottom of the spam was my message. I deleted that junk!

Anyone else?

That's how it works when the recipient doesn't have Allo.

Allo uses an SMS-Relay, as it doesn't currently support SMS/RCS.
