This is still the best phone on the market and nothing's been released that can even compare.
I'm am in love with this phone even more than the first day I met her.
Ditching my htc blunderbolt and buying this phone was the best telecommunications decision I've ever made.

Incredible, Thunderblolt, Note 2 ... I jumped from the Incredible to the TBolt after only one year and after one year with that I was DYING for a new phone!! I liked my TBolt but I was bored with it (rooted and rom'd and all). I stayed with it for the second year waiting for the right phone (and to avoid paying full price lol). As soon as I saw the Note 2 reviews online I knew that was it ... got it about a month after release and been lovin it since!!!

I left the part out about going from the blunderbolt to the Razr for a month. I had so many problems with my htc phone that after VZW replaced it with another defective device for the 4th time they agreed to give me a Razr instead. The Razr worked fine but was an extremely boring phone so I opted to sell it and buy "The Next Big Thing"..........One thing's for sure, it will be a long time before I buy any phone made by anyone other than Samsung and may never buy anything made by htc again.

How did you manage to go from the Bionic to that htc phone? That was like going from bad to worse wasn't it

iPhone 4>thunderbolt>bionic>razr>nexus>S3>note 3(white) and just used my tablet upgrade yesterday to get the gray one. Gf got the hand me down and she wasn't complaining one bit.

I only had the Bionic for about 10 days. When the Bionic first came out it had issues of randomly rebooting. I returned it before the 14 days was up. I then wanted the Galax Nexus when it came out a few months later, but Verizon wouldn't let me do another early upgrade because they claimed I used it on the Bionic. Ended up getting the Thunderbolt for a good price on eBay because my Incredible wasn't cutting it anymore. I then got a Razr Maxx off eBay a few months after that. When my upgrade finally came around, I jumped on the Note 2.

I couldn't agree more! :D I paid full retail for mine back in Nov. 2012 and would do it again today. Worth.every.penny! The ONLY device that has my interest is the forthcoming Note 3.

Btw, I also came from the Thunderbolt, still have it as a backup. Every once in a while I'll break it out and it's surreal not only how small it is compared to the Note 2, but how its software (stock Gingerbread with Sense) is greatly lacking in features and how poorly it performs. And to think I used to really like that phone. Now it's, "How did I ever use that thing!" LOL

Galaxy Nexus, Razr Maxx, Razr Maxx HD, HTC 8x, Droid DNA and finally Note 2. Love mine except for some bluetooth issues and not having a brighter full HD display. Still the best available until the Note 3 is released.

Incredible, incredible 2, bionic, galaxy nexus, note 2. I'm good so far. Every phone I have gotten since the original incredible has been increased in screen size. I guess my next phone will be the note 3 at this rate.

Did it take getting used to the size or was it not a big deal? I thought about it but the size was a deterrent.

At the rate Samsung is announcing phones these days I really don't think the note 3 is an option for me. I'll probably hold out for the note 4 or 5. This phone will definitely be enough for me till I'm upgrade eligible

Not a big deal. All I did was go to Best Buy and make sure it fit in my pocket and once I knew it did I knew it would be mine.

Wife and I each have had our GNote2 since December. I messed around with the HTC One today and...meh. It is well made and a smooth operator. Too small, and honestly just a little boring. The GNote2 size, s-pen, multiview and camera functions of the GNote2 still make it, in my opinion, the best phone on the market. I don't even think the S4 will make me think differently of my GNote2.

Iphone 3Gs, 4, 4s, 5...sold the 5 after 2 months for the note2 and glad that I did. I miss minor things about iphone, but not enough to look back.
