After few months of having slow connection with the Pixel to my Sony Deck which takes about 30 seconds or so, I thought maybe it was the Pixel that was the issue. I was wrong, and I'm glad I was.
It turned out it was the Sony car deck and perhaps this particular deck just didn't get a long with the Pixel's BT. Prior to this on going connectivity issue, I had an iPhone SE that was working just fine and would connect about 5 or 8 seconds. But then, months later I switched to Pixel and noticed the significant differences in connectivity. It had been a few months and the most annoying experienced I've had with BT technology. I tried all the troubleshooting I could possibly have. I restored, restarted and tried dozens of bluetooth apps from playstore and none of them had work. So finally, I came across the Pawn Shop today and to maybe kill time. Unexpectedly, I came across to an older Sony deck that has similar harness that my existing car receiver has and I thought maybe older deck would work with the Pixel better. You probably ask, why another Sony deck? Because I just want something quick like plug and play and didn't want to pay for installing fee and they have to re-harness my wires again. Anyways, I had the rep test it out first and makes sure is in working condition and see how long my Pixel would connect to its BT. I was amazed of how much it took. It took like about maybe 3 or 5 seconds than when I was using the iPhone SE. All in all I am so glad that I didn't have to go back to iPhone for connectivity reason. I am just so attached and so use to Android and Pixel altogether and I don't wanna go back to iPhone if I don't have to. I just love the Pixel.
