Alternatives to suction cup car mount

Does anyone know of a reliable mount that doesn't use the suction cup on the windshield?
Something like the floor mount or lighter socket mount.

But I've been hearing some socket mounts don't hold up that well.

It's a table that goes between your driver and passenger seat and holds your device mounts.

What about a dash mount? I've used this arkon sticky dash mount for a while, it's my favorite:
