Always on display - Change Colors?

How can you change the always on display colors?
Thought I saw somewhere you could make the clock any color.

Settings-Display-Always on-Layouts. Then select your color when you choose the layout

when I change the color, it only changes the hour digit of the time, everything else remains grey.... its kind of odd.

It depends on which clock you use. Some change the color of the hour, others change the whole thing.

It uses one half of one percent of battery per hour, not bad really. When the AOD is on, and u push the home button and are now viewing the lock screen momentarily, the clock digits were all different colors, well each number had its own color. That is no longer the case, they are now all same color. anyone else notice that?? I kind of liked that feature but is seems to have disappeared...

Yes, what's the deal with the clock colors??? The rainbow colors only apply to the hands and not the whole clock??? How do we get the I.T. Programmers to correct that. Hope that wasn't changed to save battery life?? That was one thing I loved about always on display instead of drab white. Please correct it back. Who do I contact?
