Anyone else having any issues where the AOD sometimes WON'T come on? It's on, on my phone. But at times I look down and the screen is off. Also, when wirelessly charging it doesn't stay on.

When it don't come on is your phone by chance in a dark place? I know if the lighting is low mine will dim and if no light it will go off.

When my sits on the wireless charger, AOD is always on.

That could be. As I know at night, when the lights are off that's one time I've noticed

I hope it is. I love my AOD. Missed it when I lost it due to the note7 mess. Went back to my note 5 til note8 came out.

I just read the tip about personalizing AOD with colours and background. Very nice feature. Also I can add a photo in mini form. Pretty cool.

I've had the note since it was released and there have been 2-3 times where I've seen the AOD not displayed (for no reason).

Mine didn't come on when it bought it. I checked the AOD options and there's a button below to set it to be ON always

I've had this happen to me twice since I've owned the phone. Not sure what causes this rare glitch but a reboot has always fixed it.

Did you set a schedule for when it comes on? I set AOD on from 0700- 2359 to help save battery life

Settings--Lock Screen and Security--Always on Display

Check ur AOD Start Time and End Time setting. U can set it both at same time, then it will show the duration for AOD as All Day Long. Hope this solve the confusion.

Uninstall any updates to AOD, restart phone, tap Apps- Galaxy Apps - search for Always on Display, tap to open and update. To prevent reoccurrence, open Play Store - tap menu key - settings - auto update apps- do not auto update apps. The Play Store version updates screw up the AOD. Always update from Galaxy Apps.

Turn power saver off.

The power saver feature turns off AOD, and charging your battery doesn't turn power saver back to off.
