Always On Display problem

Hi

My partner's S7 has a weird issue. Always On Display shows all fonts/clocks in bright pink/red. I have S7 edge and everything is fine, font and clock is white as it should be. Any idea why it is like that? It is brand new phone and it's like that from when it was taken out from the box.

Does the display look pinkish in general or only on the always on display? I guess you could try a factory reset and see if it improves anything.

Everything is fine. Just the AOD is affected. Did not try the factory reset yet. May be the only option.

That is really weird. Yeah I think you should reset it. Something is not right. It's almost like a Samsung theme has been applied somehow changing the appearance. But that cannot be the problem since it came out of the box that way.

Just did the factory reset but it is still exactly the same:-(

By any chance did you install a theme? Some themes on the S7 have customized AOD settings. If you changed themes, switch back to the default and see if that helps.

On the other hand, try a free theme with a custom AOD and see if the color/design changes to see if maybe there's a deeper issue.

Hi

Nope, I did not install anything. It was like that straight out of the box and even after factory reset.

Just installed a theme which changes AOD.
Below images show how it should look like (blue) and how it looks on my phone.... guess.... pinkish...

I don't know what is going on with that phone, but if a factory reset didn't fix the problem and a new theme didn't fix the problem, then I think it needs to be exchanged for a new one.
