am i being throttled?

So i was just watching a video on my phone on 4g and it did something its never don't on 4g it had to pause to load so i did a speed test and the results were 4.66Mbps down and 1.77Mbps up and i usually get around 11 or 12 down. is it possible im getting throttled? or could it be Verizon? how can i check to see witch it is?

i have a thunderbolt and i live in richmond va a new 4g area

It's possible that they're still working on testing the network over there. That's just a guess. Either that or it could be some other issue that's beyond your control. If I understood correctly, Verizon is not throttling folks using LTE data, just those on 3G.

That must have been a fluke, congestion, etc. It's only 3G.

Then again, they say they are only throttling 3G. Who knows if they are doing something shady.

Well, with them throttling 3G customers, I'm sure 4G throttling is just around the corner. :'(
