Am I configuring my home page correctly?

When I turn on the Nexus 7 and unlock it, this is the screen that I see. (It has noting in it at all)


I want to be able to automatically get to this screen when I turn it on. See this screen has the the widget and application.

The standard launcher that comes with the N7 has 5 home screens, with the middle of the 5 being the default screen when you hit the home button twice. Move your widget to this screen by touching and holding it, then dragging it to the desired location.

If you install an alternate launcher, like Nova Launcher Prime, you can add and subtract home screens to your liking, and also rearrange the order of the screens. In this way, you don't need to move individual widgets if you don't want to, but an entire screen to a new location, including the middle location, which is the default home screen.

Thanks MJ, finally found the correct screen that was the home page screen.

I bought it use so the first thing I did was delete everything and started over. By doing that I had no idea which one was the home screen.
