Am I nuts to want to re-order a Moto X

I re-ordered another 32GB Moto X today and should have it by the 13th (I'm assuming it'll come earlier than that). Best of luck to everyone else but I just missed my X.

No one has this info unfortunately, but going by past performance, the X should have it shortly after the Nexus devices. Motorola has really been exceptional with their updating process over the past year and half. There was even an update that hit before one of the Nexus phones.

I don't understand. Is subpar battery life an intermittent problem? I ask because my Moto X is the first phone I can use all day without charging since my BB Torch. And I use it heavy for music, internet, emailing, and videos all day.
EDIT: I'm wondering...Do those with poor battery life have branded phones? I have a Pure Edition.

Thats what were thinking. My pure is getting 5.5-6hr sot every day. 14-20 hr total. No complaints here. Best battery life I've ever got on a phone.

Thats what were thinking. My pure is getting 5.5-6hr sot every day. 14-20 hr total. No complaints here. Best battery life I've ever got on a phone.

Here's a post I made in the battery life thread. I average ~3.5hrs of SOT. I should add that I am in a very strong signal area though. I'm on Verzion, btw.

Turbo is quite heavy for my liking, also the BN is slippery. The overall aesthetics wasn't of my liking either. Battery is not an issue with me; has never been with the Moto X 13 and I have plenty of battery chargers everywhere when I need a top off. I really like the aesthetics of the new Moto X with the leather back.

Check the battery life thread here, or the XDA battery life thread. I have various days with screen shots. 5hr, 5:30, 5:46 etc generally ranging from 14 hours total to 20.

My best so far is 6:12 sot. There's a guy on XDA who got 6:26 sot with nearly 20 hours total

Motorola and VZW are really driving me nuts. The whole Moto X sales scheme is a clusterf...

The more I look at the Turbo I just don't think I want it. Just don't need the extra battery and weight/bulk. So I'm looking at going back to the X and they are really making it hard for me to justify this phone. The 16gb X is available for $0.01, however the only way to get 32gb is through Motomaker for $150 (that's $50 more than a 32gb Turbo with trade-in) - very hard to swallow paying $150 for an extra 16gb of storage. Likewise, if I want leather again (and I do) the effective cost is now $125 to do so, since basic black is free - again very hard to swallow.

I really do miss the phone and want to replace it sooner than later, but right now it's settle for 16gb black or way overpay for what I want. I wish I could love the Turbo for $100 but I just don't feel it. Have some serious first world problems here...

I was on the same boat as you are right now. At the end I realize that having what you want will have more value for me than the few bucks I can save having what I don't like. I'm currently waiting on my leather back Moto X and have no regrets about it. I had the Turbo for a week and it didn't felt right from the very beginning. Anyway just make the decision that fit your needs. This is just my .50 cents...!
