Am I supposed to factory reset before or after flashing an ruu?

I plopped the .2 Gb on last week and did neither. Just wondering when I do the official build if I'm supposed to do a reset to clear things up. Flashing this one didn't wipe everything like I thought it would. I still have my dictionary and things like that. I'm not rooted and have no intentions of that. Thanks!

You can if you want, but I don't think it's required unless you are having issues. FR doesn't touch SD card which is where I think the custom dictionary is stored.

I would backup your data and applications. I use MyBackUp and it stores everything...EVERYTHING on my SD card. It saves my dictionary, contacts, SMS, settings, calendar etc. When you restore, you can choose what to restore. You can even schedule the backup (I do mine once a week).

The backup has saved my butt a few times after a Factory Reset or after a root
