Am I the only one that didn't know that there is plastic film on the camera lense

That's what threw me. If it's a factory installed protector, or some sort of anti glare thing, it would most likely cover the lens.

'Tis a conundrum.

When I had mine I just removed it. No harm .

Haha No. This topic was discussed on an earlier thread and someone else on that thread said the protector was discussed in the user guide. Before then, I didn't even know there WAS a user guide!

My original Note had protection on it but my replacement came without one.
