Am I the only one that has no problem with the placement of the finger print sensor?

I've had the S8 for 5 days. I've found myself being able to use the finger print login with no problem at all with either hand. Whether I'm holding the phone with my right hand or left hand, I can login with the finger print sensor just fine. In fact, I'm getting used to it. I haven't smudged the camera at all.

I know there's a lot of hate floating around regarding the location of the finger print sensor. I'm just saying. I have no problem with it at all now and it's second nature to me.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

I like it to much, I don't want to have it on the home button on future releases. It's more natural this way

My last 2 Android phones (honor 8, mate 9) both had them on the back. It's just natural for me to use it.

I have found myself using it a lot more as I get used to the device. When pulling it out of my pocket, my finger naturally goes there now. However, having a case helps a ton trying to feel out where it is. Eventually muscle memory takes over.

I thought I wasn't going to like the placement, but ever since I got the phone, I've found it pretty easy to work with. It's actually a lot better than the S7E. Responds really quick and doesn't give me any issues. I actually prefer it there as opposed to the home button.

i can not say that i like its placement better than when it was one the front. however it is ok where it is, i have got used to it. the case i use is a folding case, so it tends to force me to use the phone two handed so it has been easy to use the fp scanner when needed.

Ya, muscle memory has pretty much made this 2nd nature to me. I think all the hate floating around ,especially from tech reviewers, are because people used it for 5 minutes and passed judgement on it.

Like I said, when I pull it out of my left pocket my index figure just naturally goes there from muscle memory. When I'm in the car, I'd pick it up with my right hand and my right index finger just goes there automatically.

I'm not feeling or seeing this supposed huge problem that tech reviewers said the placement of the sensor would have on user experience. This phone really is an engineering marvel.

At first I thought it was going to pose problems. However, after over a weeks use I like it.

Im one of the people who complained until i got it in my hands.. i like where it is, i have the s8plus.

I don't have any issues with it. I would rather it be centered and round but it works great for me and I'm quite used to it

With a case on it becomes easier to find the sensor. Than musle memory takes overandno problems

I hate it.

I tried setting it up the day I got it but got annoying because I kept getting the make sure you cover it up error.

I thought I could forget about it and just use Pattern but it can get annoying at times.

So after a few days and calmed down (LOL) I set it up using both hands which was a bit less annoying.

I've gotten it to work like twice. Usually get an error saying I have to cover it completely so I gave up. I only bother using it when trying to use a bank app which has fingerprint support.

ETA: I'm a lefty so it's in the wrong position for lefties.
