Am I the only one who likes Lollipop?

Yes I admit that the first time I booted into lollipop on my S5 I thought it sucked big time. No mute button, very laggy, loads of annoying bugs...

With the last update though things have improved massively, the mute button is back and all the bugs are gone. In fact my phone has never been as fast as it is now. I quite like the material design too.

From what I'm reading here I seem to be the only one who likes it though. Or maybe most of you guys haven't downloaded the second update yet? That would explain the complaints.

No you're not the only one. Yes I think the problem lies in not updating the second update after Lolipop. I have absolutely no problem with Lolipop so far. Battery is still good, the UI looks nice, no error. Can't be more happy.

Im liking LP too, when I first upgraded, the battery life was bad, I factory reset, and since then have been more than happy with it

I love lollipop. Looks well and once I did the update after lollipop, my battery has been amazing!! I used to have to charge it throughout the day and now it last all day long!!

Galaxy S5

Totally love it, battery life greatly improved, everything is running better. Camera and Samsung photo editor load almost instantly. For the first time ever, with wifi I got almost 7 hrs screen time. In 24 hr period. Best thing to happen to this phone.

At first I didn't like it. But then after a factory reset and getting rid of some apps that were power:and ram intensive I've grown to love lollipop. And like you my device has never ran as smoothly, fast and lag free.

Most of the issues like the lack of a mute feature will be sorted out here soon. Android marches on toward the future & I'm happy my S5 is a part of it :)

I like lollipop a lot so far. While I cannot say that my S5 is any faster, it certainly does not seem slower as some have complained and I have not noticed any changes in battery life. Favorite feature by far is Smart Lock trusted devices and locations. I do use Nova launcher though and have the animations turned off or way down so that may have cut out some of the lag people have complained of

No, I am kind of digging if as well. No issues and happy with the performance and battery life.

Love it too. Saw a decent increase in battery life.

I have always gotten very good battery life with my S5...well over 24 hours. So those of you that are getting increased battery life with Lollipop, can you go a full 24 hours on a charge? My avg screen time is little over 3 hours.

Same thing here. According to Gsam, I'm getting about 24 hours on a full charge with 4 hours of screen time. I will say that the phone is new and I did a factory reset after updating to lollipop

on a slight note:i think maybe battery goes down a little faster and if you clear cache it also resets your battery stats

edit:i also noticed that everytime you switch off flight mode wifi auto turns on

It does clear the old stats, so you have to give it just a little bit of use ( a couple of charge/ discharge cycles) to get back on track and give you accurate readings

switching off flight mode usually switched on wifi any fixes to that?otherwise lollipops are pretty good

I liked it at first but then all the bugs came. I'm still running L5. Currently waiting for 5.1. Keep checking every hour as I believe it should be avaliable very soon.
