Am I the only person left who turns their phone off at night?

Reading threads on overnight issues like battery drain, etc, I find myself wondering if I'm the only person left who just turns off their phone at night. Phone gets a reboot daily, battery gets used about 1/3 less than if always on.... Am I the only one?

I dont turn mine off but I dont see much drain either. I usually charge my phones during the morning.

I don't turn mine off at night. Just a top off in the morning and evening. I do restart it about once a week/couple of weeks.

I keep mine on just in case of emergency calls. But it's on silent, battery saver, and Do Not Disturb.

I have never left my phone's on at night. Turn off phone, plug in charger, go to bed is my ritual, and I've never had any battery problems.

I've had a cell phone for nearly 15 years and I NEVER shut it off, defeats the purpose of owning one.

It's my alarm clock so most nights I go into airplane mode. But if I'm off I absolutely turn mine off. I need my sleep. Pretty much everything can wait till morning.

Set my P3 on the Stand at night, take it off in the AM. Plugged P2 in at night and unplugged it in the AM. Never had any battery issue on either phone. Cell phone is the only phone I have so if it is off, I'm unreachable.

I have one for my convenience. That's its purpose. Your purpose is obviously quite different than mine.

I charge mine before I go to bed, shut it off, and turn it on first thing in the morning. I don't want phone calls/notifications/messages/email at all hours of the night. Rebooting the phone in the morning now is a fifteen second no-brainer.

My purpose is it's a phone, well and my alarm clock.

I didn't unplug or disconnect my landline nightly when I had one, why would I shut my phone off now? If there's an emergency I expect my phone to allow my family to contact me.

Editing this to add the info I keep email and social media notifications silent, I don't need my phone alerting me over a 100 times a day for pointless crap I can check whenever I pick my phone up. I only care about call/text alerts.

I leave mine on, normally charging. My do not disturb is automatically set to be on from 11p to 5a. Only an important notification would make it through, basically a call from immediately family that may need me.

I agree with you on those points.

Only phone I turn off every day save for being on call is the work phone. 1730 and bye work

Mines always on but charging overnight. Have always done that and never experienced any issues.

I don't. It's my only p phone. I don't have a landline, so I need to keep it on in case of family emergency.

I shut my phone down at night, I have a landline and don't need to use it for an alarm clock. I also shut down my computer every night.

I was right. We have totally different purposes.
