Am I understanding this correctly?

Ok. Basically the s10plus is better than the new regular note 10? Battery, display, etc? I was gonna make the jump but I am not sure I am seeing a real reason to switch.

yes the note 10+ has a bigger battery and the 3d camera(or whatever its called) and a 6.8" display as opposed to a 6.3" on the regular note 10

You should be able to do a full comparison side by side of the S10 plus the Note 10 small and the Note 10 plus to make a determination. All of the spec details should be available

I did the side by side and I am really disappointed in Samsung! The regular Note 10 seems to be lacking in specs compared to the s10plus!

Why are you avoiding the Note 10 plus? It's not much bigger than the S10 plus.
This is a true statement. I stopped by Best Buy and held them up to each other and the naked note 10+ was almost the same size as my s10+ with a thin case on it.

Get the Plus. Even Samsung said it in their presentation, the Note 10 is for those who want to get to try a Note, and the Note 10 is the real big deal for the Note fans. On reddit they're calling it the Note 10e, because that's what it is. Just like the S10e was a downgrade to the Note 9, the Note 10e isn't really an upgrade to the S10+.

Also, remember that the regular Note 10 is SMALLER than the S10+. It's basically the same size as the S10, remove the jack to make space for the SPen, replace the screen and call it a day.

I feel like they look alot bigger!

The Note 10+is one of the few phones that photograph and video to look larger than they actually are. Seeing YouTube videos, and pics online the phone looks huge. But I recently saw one in person, and it's actually not that big compared to other phones with 6+ inch displays.

He stacks the Note 10+ against the Note 9 physically. They're the same size. Obviously the Note 10 will be smaller.

The actual dimensions of the phones:https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9535&idPhone2=9788&idPhone3=9732

Note10+ = 162.3 x 77.2 x 7.9 mm (6.39 x 3.04 x 0.31 in)
S10+ = 157.6 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm (6.20 x 2.92 x 0.31 in)
Note 10 = 151 x 71.8 x 7.9 mm (5.94 x 2.83 x 0.31 in)
S10 = 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8 mm (5.90 x 2.77 x 0.31 in)

Note 9 size:161.9 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm

Note 10+ size: 162.3 x 77.2 x 7.9mm

I know the 6.8 inch screen size makes it seem huge, but remember that the Note 9 has (slim) bezels and a 6.4 inch screen. The difference as Mike Dee said is negligible.

I’m not saying the Note 10+ isn’t a big phone, because it is, but it’s not monstrously big that it becomes inconvenient and unwieldy to use that some reviews make it out to be.

Basically, if you can handle the Note 8/9, you can handle the Note 10+.

I was actually addressing the difference between S10+ and Note10+ but it applies to the Note 9 as well

I'm switching from S10e to Note 10 to get back in a Note without being so large

If the Note10 had 12GB of RAM and the 1440 screen, like the 10+. I might have gotten it.

Sometimes I like having big phones like the Note 9 and 1+7 Pro and other times I miss having a small phone like my old Pixel 3 or S10. lol
