Amazing Battery Life

wanted to run a lil test casue my friend was bragging about his iPad2's Battery Life.
my Battery is at 63% - 3d 1h 0m 5s

data 3g/4g off
wifi on when screen on and being used
wifi off when screen off and not being used

The standby times is what's driving that 3 days. A better test would be to run movies non stop to see when it dies. Reports say 9 hours to the ipads 10. Also look at your screen on time. That will give you an idea how long you were really using it for.

Good idea on air plane. I just turn off wifi if I know im putting it down for more than like 5 minutes.

I have yet to have my Xoom run out of power in the course of a day. The lowest I have gotten it is about 25%. All the talk of I get 9 vs 10 hours is mostly irrelevant as long as your device functions when you need it to. By then again I don't do a lot if extended travel, so maybe that extra hour would come in super handy.

When you travel by motorcycle, camp, and trade the stockmarket to pay for it all, extra time on the battery is as necessary as cold beer (and Wifi at McD's) .

Xoom battery life is amazing.
I have owned the iPad 1 since release date last Spring and always thought it had good battery life, but compared to the Xoom it doesn't.

I'm getting better on the Xoom than the I pad 2 after updating the I pad to 4.3.1. Before that the Xoom seemed to run out by 6 or 7pm after a full day of use. However mine has little down time at work or home i use it allot. Email, web, video and viewing PDFs. Also at work I usually have the screen at 100% briggtness as well. No complaints on battery here.
