I downloaded a bunch of music from amazon. When I click the music icon I do not see all the items I downloaded (some are there some are not). If I go files, phone files, there is an amazon folder that has all the music there. Any ideas why these are not showing up in the music player? Also any recommendations on other music sources?

i use amazon, but downloading them on your phone is sometimes glitchy... i have spoken with them on the phone about this. they reccommended that i buy and download the music on my pc, then sync it to my device. for a couple of reasons. one the music is on your pc too ( cant sync amazon music from phone to pc, only pc to phone) and you wont have thosse glitches. amazon is the cheapest out there. what i do if i absolutely have to have a song on my phone when i hear it, is download it using "tunee music" (completely free in the marketplace) and then later buy it on amazon on my pc.

you can also move them from one folder to another in astro if you like...

Are you using the stock music player? Try PowerAmp and see if that gives you the same issue (it is so much better than the stock music app). When I download music from Amazon, I just manually copy it over from phone to PC (or PC to phone, whichever the case may be). They are in a folder on the SD card called amazonmp3. Albums are in their own folders, but I found that I had to put the single songs in their own folders under the amazonmp3 folder though, or else it becomes a huge headache. Make sure whatever folder you have the music in does not have a "nomedia" file, or that will prevent them from showing up.

I would say try the doubleTwist app and see if you experience the same problems. I've enjoyed it much more than the stock player and it even has a decent widget.
