Amazon music app wont play

[Android Central Question]

When I open the app it appears to load ok. Try to play a track but then says this needs an internet connection. Please connect .
My internet is working. All other apps are working without issues . This is on a kindle fire 8 hd

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried different wi-fi networks? Are you currently using your own network, or a public one (like at a school or work)? Are you using a VPN?
