Amazon Prime HDR supports Galaxy S8/+

It seems that you can now stream HDR content on your S8 with Amazon Prime.

Supported Devices

At this time, HDR video is available on the following Amazon Video devices, for selected models from 2015 or later:

Samsung SUHD TVs, and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Galaxy 8, 8+, Galaxy Tab S3 mobile devices

How is that playing on the S8, Amazon Video or something else?

You have to download the Amazon Prime Video app and be a prime subscriber to see most of the HDR content. You can also rent some HDR/ultra hd movies, but the content is very limited at this point. Still a nice step moving forward.

I see that in the faq section. but I select an hdr episode and I do not see any hdr notification

You may have to change the screen resolution on your phone.
