Amazon raises price on white SR

Any of you folks notice that Amazon is still selling the black SR for $99, but increased the price on the white one to $169.99! WTF?? That's really odd don't you think? I was just about to pull the trigger when I saw this today.. Anyone have ideas why they would do that?

IMO the black phone looks much better. The only reason I can see to buy a white phone is if you've got two in the family and want to easily differentiate between them. And for an extra $70? Hells no.

Better off with the Black one man! My gf said "white phones are about as cool as white shoes... and are for girls"!!! lol Go black and never go back...lol.

Got to agree with you folks.. I called and Amazon said the carrier dictates the pricing which to me is BS. ATT shows both phones at the same price ($199).. I'm still a bit mesmerized by the Note though to be honest.. It really is pretty cool

or...a SkyRocket...I stopped in the AT&T store today, and they were all raving about how much they all loved the SkyRocket...they knew I already had one, and I was the only person in there but the employees...they really do love it.

I love the screen size of the Note but I'm afraid it would require two hands for most operation. I can one hand type, swipe my unlock code, and operate the pulldown on my Skyrocket. No chance of doing that on the Note.

I have the white and would pay more for white then the black. Black is so boring and I look awesome rocking my white skyrocket and white pants

What...No vinyl white belt either? Or maybe one of those shiny vinyl cases for the white Skyrocket too!

P.S. Just watched this video, [GALAXY Note] Introducing Premium Suite with Ice Cream Sandwich - YouTube The new S Pen suite they are including in the ICS update for the Note is VERY cool.. But I agree about not being able to operate it with one hand.. It's really a tough call right now.. Am also hoping the SR HD releases soon as well.. I wonder if they'll make it in white? LOL

Wow if the SkyRocket HD is released I hope it is within my 30 days with AT&T takeback...might consider it...I see it has FCC approval...let's get it out here!!!
