Amazon to sell Atrix on February 11

Just a quick heads up on that Patriot 32gb class 10 card, guys. I've got one and it has been a huge disappointment for me in my Droid X. Terrible performance, frequent FCs, lockups and reboots when the card is being accessed etc. Performance is awesome in my PC or my digicam but it just does horribly in Android devices. I also tested it on a buddy's Fascinate and it was giving all kinds of problems too.

While it's possible I just got a bad card, the reviews on Newegg and on other Android forums aren't too encouraging thus far. I'm going to try and RMA or exchange the card. Between Newegg and Patriot, hopefully someone will help me out.

Here's on thread where I reported my findings along with some others:

Anyone packing a 32gb sd card?

Sorry to hear that could be just bad card so don't worry RMA it you will get another. I got it soon as they put it for sale I get 10-12mbps write/15-16mbps read on average. But I benchmarked it higher 15w/18r. ATM for $99 this is the best card on the market comparing SanDisk 32GB Class 2/Kingston 32GB Class 4 they are all over $100.

FYI, The lexar takes two moths to ship on amazon and costs 8 bucks more than the partiot
I ordered from Microcenter, shipped next day. I agree it is a bit more than the Patriot.

I am surprised to hear that, the Patriot cards I've used have always been fine. Hopefully you just got a bad one.

Any news about Amazon selling. AT&T will ship it before March 6th, so I guess I can wait for next 3 weeks for the phone to appear on third party retailer websites. Hoping to see some discount and free activation!

AT&T gave me $50 off, so my order came to $149 (+tax and fees). Not much different than the $150 on Amazon and Costco. See if you're eligible...

New contract and upgrade are the same thing I thought? Bc when you are eligible for an upgrade, your 2-year contract is up. You either have the choice to cancel your account or upgrade. If you upgrade, you get a new 2-year contract.

How did you get $50 off? I am not with AT&T currently. Any offers for new subscribers?

AT&T upgrade policy (correct me if I am wrong) has been for quite a while a combination of # or months with current phone & how much you spend per month. For example, if you spend on minutes, messaging, data & other additional features, you'll be eligible for upgrades and, as more time goes on, more discounts on equipment.

Before getting my Backflip (I know...), I had my Motorola V3xx for almost two-and-a-half-years, so I ended up getting the Backflip for nothing because of that time in addition to unlimited data and messaging, which amounts to about $100/ month.

As far as I know, that policy still stands. If it is otherwise, please share. :)

As for new subscribers, that $199.99 is the offer. It says with a "new two-year contract."
