Amazon vs HTC.com for Purchase

I'm so close to buying the U11, but I'm concerned about warranty repairs in the future if purchase from either HTC vs Amazon. I've only ever had a problem with one phone, my Nexus 6, which was handled very well by Google. Opened a chat online, did some diagnoses (speaker volume suddenly went lower than normal). They sent me a new phone, once I got it, I sent back my phone. Done.

So the question is, how's HTC vs Amazon if I have trouble with the phone after the initial return period?

I have never had a problem with HTC when having warranty service done.

It's a great phone. I haven't found anything I don't like about it, not that it can't be improved in some areas. After owning nothing but solid aluminum phones since 2013 the glass back makes me a little nervous but I have never broke a screen so maybe I will be ok.
