Amazon's $111.11 deal

I ordered a new Razr yesterday on Amazon's 111.11 deal and noticed it was on backorder.

Checked Amazonwireless today and it says "in stock, ships within 24 hours"

I'm confused... anyone have an explanation?

Phone just shipped! So much for waiting 8-9 days. Muahahah. Will be here Monday.

Edit: And now it's back to saying "backorder". Guess I got the last one.

I know it is to late for you but for future reference print the add and take it into a retailer to try to get a price match. I am using my Razr as a result of this tactic. The salesman was more than willing to price match, his boss on the other hand was not happy about selling two brand new phones for $111.11 each

I think it's too late to do the price match as the Amazon deal was only for one day -- 11/11/11. As of now it's listed on the Amazon Wireless website as 199.99. (for new customers only), I'm pretty sure that it still costs $249.99 for upgrade customers.

Me too!!! I ordered this for my girl as a thanksgiving surprise and turns out we both are the ones being surprised because its coming so early!

Got mine at best buy for $299, then walked in today with this flyer, and got $86 back. They were able to price match. Horay free Otterbox case and extra money back!.
