Amber Alert sound but no notifications!!!

I keep getting the amber alert sound but there is no notifications everytime i check my phone. I disabled all apps notofications except important ones such as messages and gmail. It happens randomly. Some days it happens almost every 5 mins and some days it happens throughout the day. Its driving me crazy. Btw this started happening as I moved my data service provider to MetroPCS

I'm guessing that the notification tone you're hearing is being used by some other app, and you just don't remember it. But call MetroPCS and ask. Maybe someone is updating something in their Amber Alert system and keeps setting it off. (Software developers aren't perfect. I shud no - I R wun.)
