Amber Alert

So last night, there was an Amber Alert in my area, so both my Pixel 3XL and my iPhone 6 (on Sprint) got the alert.
I heard it, saw it, and dismissed it.

However, my Pixel 3 XL phone kept getting the alert about every 5 minutes or so, which kept me awake until about 1am, but the iPhone 6 only received it once.
The pixel probably kept notifying me and waking me up like 10 times!!..

Even this morning, I got it 2 more times so far.
WTF is going on with this??
Anyone experienced this before?
(I tried clearing cache from messages app), but doesnt seem to do anything. Also tried to restart the phone several times)...

Any ideas?

You have repeat notifications every 15 minutes turned on. Go to Settings, Apps & Notifications, Advanced, Emergency Alerts. At the bottom find your options.

Had my 3 XL for just over a week now. Great phone so far. Coming off a Samsung S7 Edge.

Or, go to settings, search for "Amber" and you're there.
