Ambient display battery usage?

Obviously it has to use some battery power, but can you quantify how much difference it seemed to make?

On: 5% - 6% drain in battery

I think one reviewer had a good observations. I'f you're turning on the phone less because of the info on the AoD then you're likely saving battery. But that heavily depends on how you use your phone.
