Ambient display

Been using my Pixel 3 for about 12 hours now along side my Pixel 2 with WiFi. The one thing I'm noticing is that notifications are not always popping up in the ambient display or in my notification bar.

I've checked vs my Pixel 2 and the settings in app and under the settings menu of the phone are identical. Anyone else having this issue?

Did you check the settings within the apps themselves and in settings/notifications?

Since you have two phones up at the same time. The Pixel 2 may be picking up the notifications and not the 3. Sometimes I'll have two phones up like you have and only one phone gets gmail or text. ???

Good point. Right now I'm at work and my other phone is turned off.

For example, Android Central is set up for push notifications if someone replies to me in the app. I didn't get a notification.
