Welcome to Android Central.

On my Xiaomi with MIUI 14...

under Settings - Display..

I have to have Reading Mode - off..

before I can access the Colour Scheme - Advanced Settings...

to get to the full colour adjustment settings.

I have to touch the extreme right end of the Adjustment Settings bar before it will open.

Let us know if you have these options.

it doesnt show up in my device tho the advanced settings and i have miui 14 too

Is there an arrow on the right end of Advanced Settings bar like in the screenshot, and does it say Colour Gamut Options underneath Advanced Settings?

If not, the Snapdragon 4 gen 1 SoC, or the screen, may not be uo to it.

GSMArena says the Standard colour mode gives the best results, though doesn't show the Colour options on the 12 5G.

it doesnt say anything there's just three options vivid saturated and standard in my device i dont jave anyother option other than the colour temperature

Try the Xiaomi Community app for the forums there, or contact Xiaomi direct (there's a Setting somewhere, I'll look tomorrow)

There's a member here who has/ had a Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G who might see this, but may have more features.

I think you are possibly expecting too much and are probably out of luck. You may have a particular need or requirement. You could search all the written and video reviews for the model and some may cover those options available. GSMArena normally do if it was there.

I would just try each colour option for a few days.

i cannot acess xaomi community because it is banned in india

It does seem you don't have those very advanced and to me unnecessary options.
I haven't trawled everywhere so I cannot be sure.

You have a lower midrange device with a great screen, which may lack enough brightness to make it worthwhile.

I don't think you are missing anything.

So what can i do to make it more natural the saturation is so much it doesnt look natural at all should i lower the resolution a bit

I read your posts too quickly and missed that you had no Advanced Options, as confirmed in the detailed Notebook check review.

They, also, recommend the Standard Colour Scheme and Standard Colour Temperature settings, as it's very close to the measurements they use for basic sRGB colour gamut / spread. If you had a P3 colour option that has a larger spread of colours, but I don't know much about these things.

Possibly a fault with your device?
Try with Dark Mode, Anti Flicker and Reading modes off?

Is this over saturation only when looking at high res photos from the phones cameras?

Did you have a flagship level phone prior to this?

I don't think there is an app that can help directly, but have another look.

I can bring up hidden tests list with a display test that just shows a full red, green and Blue screen that says to check for odd bright patches.

If you can't send it back I don't know what to suggest except find a decent repairer who can quickly look at it for you.
