it doesnt show up in my device tho the advanced settings and i have miui 14 tooWelcome to Android Central.
On my Xiaomi with MIUI 14...
under Settings - Display..
I have to have Reading Mode - off..
before I can access the Colour Scheme - Advanced Settings...
to get to the full colour adjustment settings.
I have to touch the extreme right end of the Adjustment Settings bar before it will open.
Let us know if you have these options.
it doesnt say anything there's just three options vivid saturated and standard in my device i dont jave anyother option other than the colour temperatureIs there an arrow on the right end of Advanced Settings bar like in the screenshot, and does it say Colour Gamut Options underneath Advanced Settings?
If not, the Snapdragon 4 gen 1 SoC, or the screen, may not be uo to it.
GSMArena says the Standard colour mode gives the best results, though doesn't show the Colour options on the 12 5G.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G review
Both, the Redmi Note 12 4G and Note 12 5G share the same display panel - AMOLED, 1080 x 2400px resolution, 6.67" in diagonal and with 120Hz refresh rate....m.gsmarena.com
i cannot acess xaomi community because it is banned in indiaTry the Xiaomi Community app for the forums there, or contact Xiaomi direct (there's a Setting somewhere, I'll look tomorrow)
There's a member here who has/ had a Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G who might see this, but may have more features.
I think you are possibly expecting too much and are probably out of luck. You may have a particular need or requirement. You could search all the written and video reviews for the model and some may cover those options available. GSMArena normally do if it was there.
I would just try each colour option for a few days.
It does seem you don't have those very advanced options and to me unnecessary options.
I haven't trawled everywhere so I cannot be sure.
You have a lower midrange device with a great screen, which may lack enough brightness to make it worthwhile.
I don't think you are missing anything
