Does having too many aps downloaded on my phone cause it to run slower? Just curious because it's what I've heard.

Not per se, but the more apps you put on there, the greater chance of getting a buggy one, or two, or three, that doesn't play well with your phone. That's what will make performance worse. I've had 3 HTCs and they don't naturally get bogged down or laggy over time like Samsungs can. But, you should still beware of misbehaving apps.

BTW, having a large volume of apps can affect how quickly you access certain screens, like the app drawer.

Okay. What are the signs of a misbehaving app? I haven't dealt with that in a long time.

Lag, battery drain, other apps not working correctly because one is grabbing onto permissions, crashes, any number of things really.
