Amount of the Icons on the screen changeable? possible???

so to the point, runnin KA high, and lovin it, but in general is there a way to put more icons on the screen rather than 4x4??? is this even possible to change i mean it should be right!?

the paid version allows 16 icons/page, the free version 3 where 1 icon would go.

ya the stupid gear thing is irritating but nice still...there doesnt seem to be any more like it at all how is that even possible!
