Ampere app issues with wireless charging

Anyone familiar with Ampere can help me out here? Ive been using Ampere to tell me whats going on with my different chargers and Im stumped on this one. My Wireless car charger puts out about 600 mAh which isn't enough to charge the Moto Z with Incipio pack while running GPS and the screen always on. It annoying the crap out of me because the car is the only really usefull place for wireless charging IMO.

I took the phone inside and hooked it up to a different wireless desktop charger. I turned on GPS, cranked brightness up to 100% and played youtube video while on Wifi. Ampere says the max mA is 350 but is hovering around 170 with about 4V yet the phone is charging, slowly but charging. Anyone have any idea what is going on here. Im leaning towards Ampere is not accurately displaying the charging amps.

If you're going by the large number at the top, I believe that's the net rate of charge gain/loss, so if it's showing positive at all, you're gaining charge. So if you have it running GPS, etc, and Ampere is showing 600mAh, then it maybe charging at 1,000 and using 400, with a net charging gain of 600 (numbers should be blue-green), and will keep up and slowly gain charge.

If I'm incorrect about that, someone please speak up & correct me.

REad the FAQ and you are correct. It shows the net amperage. That is good to know, I assumed it was total amperage. This still wouldn't explain why I show 600-700 mAh of excess current yet the battery slowly drains in the car. Going to have to try a different wireless car charger. Perhaps my is crap.

A little annoyed that Incipio didn't build in fast wireless charging into the mod. For such an advanced concept as the mods I feel it should have been done, maybe we will see a mod with it in the future.

I highly suggest that we all email Incipio (support@incipio.com) with our requests for more Moto Mods.

I have already emailed about a Style Shell with Qi wireless charging and a slimmer/smaller extended battery.
