An anti-apple conspiracy? Just thinking...

I was looking around at several sites with the March 3 and March 4 "possible" release dates being hinted at for the TB and then I saw the March 2 event where they'll be introducing/announcing the iPAD 2.

Wonder if 1) VZW will be carrying the iPAD 2 and 2) if not, wonder if they're planning on releasing the TB on March 3rd to steal some "thunder" away from the iPAD2.

I have no reason to believe any of what I just wrote...just thought it was a coincidence.

the thunderbolt will not steal anything away from the iPad2. Theres just no way. Verizon has had their chance to get the jump on AT&T, and they didn't take it. Sure, they got the iPhone, but AT&T got a dual core out first before Verizon could even release a new Android, since what I believe was summer of last year, or maybe earlier. They are not going to try and steal business away from apple, because VZW now has the iPhone and will probably get the iPad. they can release this phone whenever they want, and they're only really hurting HTC.

The ipad and the thunderbolt are 2 completely different types of products. If they get relesed on the same day, it wouldn't matter much.

Seems an odd and stinging coincidence that on February 24th, the day we were rumored to get our thunderbolt, Apple releases its own Thunderbolt. It certainly would've been a confusing news day if two different technologies named "Thunderbolt" had been released on the same day.
