Hi guys!

I?m Mike, the product lead of Lightpack project. As early as in 2011 we presented our open source backlighting device for TV sets and computer screens, that can be made by anyone who wants to. By the way, if someone of you uses cross-platform soft Prismatik, don?t forget these are we who develop it and give its sources to anyone who needs them.

Probably, some of you have already heard about this project: on April 26th we have presented Lightpack on the popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.

Since 2011 Lightpack has been changed several times, but we?ve been systematically moving forward to our goal: to make a simple, and most importantly affordable light system, that will work out-of-the-box and that can be controlled by anyone. The work on project elaboration doesn't stop for a minute and right from the start on Kickstarter we have been getting more suggestions on it. Today we are proud to present one more feature that has been developed in an amazingly shot timeslap: Lightpack with Android.

Today we are very close to our dream as we have already met our goal. More than 5000 people have pledged their support for us and we propose you to become the full participants of our project too. We have created several juicy stretch goals and we want everyone to participate in meeting them.

You?re welcome to our project?s page on Kickstarter, where we?ve tried to explain by means of video, photos and infographics what and in what sequence we intend to do to let the first Lightpacks roll off the production line as early as in July.
