To the Samsung fold and with a black 256GB version ;)

I've swapped it for my previous iPhone 13 Pro Max. Its a superb phone and I miss it already, but always wanted to try the Fold and now I've got one :)

Restored from my back up of my previous Note 20 Ultra, SwiftKey and Textra installed and away I go... Nova Launcher on it too and its fantastic

The screen is superb, the front screen is fine, even with my fat fingers. But the overall open size suits my slab like hands...

Spigen case on its way. For now I've got an OEM Samsung case on it and a tempered glass screen protector on the front screen.

Will get pics up of the case and other stuff tomorrow

So far massively impressed

Fat fingers? What Spigen case did you order? I hope it isnt the Slim Armor Pro or Tough Armor...

Welcome back !
Loving my Fold³ also

Tough Armor, why?

And yes, I've big hands, so 'fat fingers' etc...

This is my 'hobby'... :

Not sure what their issue is, but I have the tough armor and it's perfect, almost.

But my gripes are going to be with any case that actually protects the phone. Before I installed this case and was just using the crappy Samsung Folio (think that's what it's called) typing on the front display was no problem at all. But now the case has the raised edges and it makes it harder to hit the keys along the edges.

In all, it's still doable once you get used to it, but definitely not as easy without the case; that's the trade off. I'm not going to take the risk of banging up an $1800 device.

So glad you are loving your Fold device! Enjoy! I've heard great things about the screen, too!

The narrowing of the front screen isn't an issue for me as so far I've only used it a handful of times to reply to a simple message and make a few calls... The rest of the time I've used the inner screen as it's perfect for the size of my hands!

And agree; even though I've not bought this phone brand new; it is still as new and I want to protect it as best as I can!

Youre gonna have a hard time typing on the front. The front part of the Tough/Slim Armor is crazy high.

I am happy with the narrower display. Because now I can swipe type using my thumb one handed. Best ever. I can never do that with a normal phone. Plus typing needs 2 hands and it is a chore to do on the move.

Yes narrower display. But if you have medium to big thumbs and if you use the Spigen Tough/Slim Armor its kinda hard to type.

I make less mistakes when swiping.

you dont seem to understand my point. the Spigen Slim Armor Pro has raised lips so high its making my thumb difficult to touch the edge of the screen.for instance when i want to press 1,Q,0,P or Delete(Whatever is at the side) in Whatsapp,it misses... and Swipes are registered from the Edge(unless you use GoodLock to extend the active area). And i came from IOS,i know how to swipe. But the swiping in Android is nowhere close to IOS Swiping.

I'm back also. Just got the S22 Ultra today and I just can't go back to that style of slim candy bar style phones. Even with the phone being 6.8" I always felt like I was squinting at the phone. I would have loved the bigger battery, better cameras and faster charging but none of that matters if the screen is small. #TeamFold
