Android 10, what's new?

I don't understand what the hype over Android 10 was or why anyone was in a rush to get it, nothing really changed.

My spen menu looks different, still functions the same. My Note 9 is still almost identical to my Note 8 software wise. I'm sure there are some minor tweaks but I just don't get why others make such a big deal over such a tiny update. Certainly didn't bring the major design changes seen in the past.

I keep losing my reply when I back outof this app. Ugh. That's new.

I know wifi calling wasn't a toggle. I rarely use wifi, but I think mine was on.
Link to Windows is new, or I never noticed it.
Screen Record is new.

Also under camera, you can do a personalized emoji of yourself. I had to download it, so I think it's new.

Seeing as how the Note 9 is only second in class in its line, I expected more from the update. I'm hoping enough people complain about the new battery stats as it's terrible. It takes me more time to read the graph and there's no way to tell.what your uptime is anymore.

They need to revert back. So in the meantime I have to to phone stats to see what my uptime is (more important than SoT) I average 8 - 10 hours of SoT per charge. I'd rather have better uptime.

However, battery performance seems to be slightly better.

Agree! The SOT phone stats on Android 10 are either merky or non existent regarding clarity. Not many other changes I use from day to day that I take notice of. Phone is operating smoothly which is a definite plus in my book.

The battery stats are weak in Android 10. Time to look for a good battery app that I haven't had to do in a while
