Android 11 Developer Preview

Yesterday the first developer preview dropped for the Pixel 2/XL and above. It has to be side loaded using ADB and is definitely NOT for daily use as yet. But there are some interesting new features already discovered.

Bubbles for notifications.
This was first experimented with in the Android 10 beta but never made it to stable. In fact it had to be enabled with ADB. Even though there is mention of bubbles in Notifications on Stock Android, it has never worked. Now in Android 11, you can have bubble (like Facebook chatheads) notifications.

Screen recording.
Again, first seen in Android 10 beta, this again had to be enabled through ADB and never worked very well. It again never made it to stable release. On Android 11 it is in the quick settings panel, but doesn't record sound.

Most of the other features include enhancements for phones with bullet hole notches and waterfall displays.

I'm looking forward to the new conversation tab in notification shade. Also maybe the bubbles although I'm not so sure how they're going to interact with the operating system.

@Kirstein Gourlay , check my thread on the scoped storage situation that I posted in this same subforum. I tried this on a virtual Pixel 3a XL and it is SCARY. Ignore the people saying it is just because if it being an "unfinished" system, as that is NOT the cause of this issue.

I saw the thread on scopes storage. Thing nearly drove me crazy in the Q beta
