Android 12 set to auto open app

On Android 12, can we set it to automatically switch app instead of getting a pop up stating "tap here to open xxx app"?

We use the PrinterShare app to print from a browser, every time we need to print from the browser, we will need to switch to the PrinterShare app, but with Android 12, it does not automatically switch to the app, it needs to tap the notification to switch, is there any way to disable this?

Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Instead of trying to work with the PrinterShare app, have you tried just using Chrome's native print function? It's not completely intuitive to find, but on any site you want to print, tap Menu>Share, and then swipe the lower row of icons all the way to the right to find the Print option.

Account created.
We are using Samsung A33 with Android 12 and Samsung A32 with Android 11, both has the pop up in order to switch app.
We are using a Brother Bluetooth RJ-4030 printer with our web based POS system, none of the printing service work with the Brother Bluetooth printer, the PrinterShare app is the only one we could get the printer to work.
Also having printing issue with the new phone Bluetooth 5.1 where it refused to print the second page if anyone came across such issue. The printer is using Bluetooth 2.1
Thanks in advance.

I made you the owner of the original guest post to make it easier for you to find.

I'm not familiar with trying to print via Bluetooth. Is the printer connected to your wi-fi network?

Thanks B.Diddy.

Nope, the printer is Bluetooth and USB only. We have many of these printers so replacing them is out of the question currently, and we are always on the move, so using USB cable is out of the question too.

Thanks.
