Just received Android 13 Quarterly Platform Release.
Both phones (Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a) still have those features after the Beta update.check your call screen features. I am so bummed that, yet again, Google has removed the assistive features from the phone app. hold for me and direct my call have both been removed. also, spam calls are ringing THROUGH! WHYYYYYYY????
Haha, small. The download for the Pixel 6a is small. Probably will still take as long as it's taking on the Pixel 6 Pro. View attachment 348428
What's interesting is on my Pixel 6 Pro the Beta update was 1.99GB in size. Much larger than the update on my Pixel 6a.Haha, small.
Time was when a 32MB hard disk drive was considered huge and a 448MB file would take weeks to download over a 2400bps modern connection.![]()

That's the topic of this thread. I downloaded the beta first on my Pixel 6 Pro. When I downloaded it on Pixel 6a I was shocked at how small it was in comparison. Are you talking about the QPR1 update?
On my Pixel 6 Pro, the download was only 448MB.
As we are constantly being reassured "size doesn't matter".Those Were The (painful) Days![]()
