Android 2.3.3 Update? Please :(

Okay my LG Optimus S has 2.2.2 on it still and my phone was deactivated when the update came out for the phone via Sprint users.

Is there anyway i can get 2.3.3 on my phone?

It is rooted but I dont want to add the custom rom i did do that last night and everything worked fine until i rebooted and and had to restore it via NAND restore.

Any help is appreciated ! Cheers !

When I had my EVO I upgraded to GB while on Airplane mode and just WiFi. I suppose you could install it through the recovery menu.

Your going to have to find the update file for your device, then boot into recovery, then apply the update zip. Try YouTube, they have most tutorials on most devices.

yeah hi I just have a question that is that why the samsung wave 3 does not have android it would of been awesome if it has android but it doesnt is there anyway it can be changed to android

Hello! I have a Droid 2 that says it is running 1.5, therefore it says that I can not download google play because the OS will not support it. The phone is also Rooted. Everywhere I read that if you update the OS, it will un-root the phone and 99% of the time it will not root back or even work at all for that matter (if you try to re-root) does anyone know how I can update this phone without unrooting?
