Android 2.3 and 136mb internal storage

Hello,

I was given an older tablet that was never used. It has Android 2.3 and only 136mb of internal storage. It operates like an old guy driving down the freeway...so slow it makes you nuts. Is there any way to salvage this or should I stop wasting my time and pitch it? I put in micro SD card to help with memory. If you can't tell already, I don't know much so please don't get too technical.

Thanks

Re: Android 2.3 and 136mb internal storage

At best, a factory restore may help, but I wouldn't install anything or even update the existing apps. Today's apps, while they may technically be compatible, are way more advanced than the apps available when that tablet came out. So you'll simply be asking it to do way more work than it was designed for and wind up right back where you are now.

I personally wouldn't bother with it, with the possible exception that you want it for a specific reason that can be accomplished with the stock apps.
