For Verizon, between now and end of the year, is the Samsung Galaxy S3 the best phone to get? Anything around the corner that would be better this year?

I am on the Bionic with VZW twiddle their thumbs on ICS. Samsung Galaxy S3 is on ICS. But wonder if it is even worth it to jump directly into a JB phone if there is one this year rather than wait for one of them to update. Gods know when anything get updated with Verizon. Had the Samsung Galaxy original and that took forever. Bionic got screwed. Original Droid got screwed.

Not sure if you've been keeping up with the Bionic specific forums, but sounds like they aren't twiddling their thumbs anymore and some interesting talk about the latest ICS leak also may be prepping it to go to JB as well. Sticking with mine for the time being.

Not to mention the Bionic doesn't have the (not so) Super AMOLED screen.

Right this minute, it might be the best phone to get. If you are looking for something new before the end of the year, wait about a month and the picture will get a lot clearer as to the new phones coming out.

I guess Galaxy S3 it is...i would go with the Note 2, but too damn big.
