I've been searching the web for the last few weeks since I saw that Google released ICS and seeing some devices coming with it and I can't find any new news regarding its release for my Acer tab. I was wondering if anyone has garnered some Intel on the subject. I'm really looking forward to checking it out and well I'm getting kinda anxious.

I am running it on my Galaxy Nexus and it is freaking awesome OS! Much of the interface will lend towards smoother tablet operation so I can not wait until it comes out for this tablet!

The Iconia is "schedule" to get the update sometime writhing the next two months, just sit and wait, but like all things it might get delayed so don't hold my word for sure.

I think they were referring to the A200 on that link when they were talking about it getting ICS.

Yeah that post is talking about the a200 but I don't think the a200 is even launching with ICS from the looks of it. It says at the top of the article, "Ice Cream Sandwich update available in mid-February".

How do I update my samsung infuse from froyo 2.2.1 up to android 4.do I have to use the at&t network?.or will the update be automatic through android central.thanx.

The A200 will launch with Honeycomb at the beginning with ICS following in mid February as I read it. I'm pretty sure the A500 will get it also but been that the OS is not going to come to the A200 until February, chances are we won't see it officially on the A500 untill latter past that.

You can root and flash a custom ROM....your not getting it officially :/

Do you think that the a500 is going to get the Acer ring custom skin that the a200 has? I actually kinda like it. It reminds me of Samsung's touchwiz on the galaxy tab 10.1.
