Android 4.1 gallery issues

Hey all. I got the android 4.1 update for my One S sometime last week and there is something wrong with the gallery. I added some photos from my computer into the DCIM / 100MEDIA folder where all the camera shots gets saved to (I did not take these pics from my phone, they were on my computer and I added them to the folder thru the USB) but they do not show up in the gallery under "Camer Shots" or under "All Photos"

I always added photos from my PC to the phone into that very folder on android 4.0, and they showed up no problem, but now they don't. Anyone know why?
