Does anyone know if we will ever get 4.3 or if we will go right to 4.4

Considering we saw a few leaked 4.3 engineering builds you can "probably" assume that we'll go to 4.3 and then 4.4. Now it's always possible that Motorola could change their mind and go straight to 4.4 but I know in the past Motorola has been conservative in pushing out newer versions of Android. My Bionic for example didn't get ICS until 4.0.4 had been released and it didn't get Jelly Bean till after 4.1.2 was released. Now we really have no way to know what they will do but my best guess? We'll see a 4.3.1 OTA come out starting in early December.

My hope is that they support this device with a little more urgency as it is the closest device to a plain jane nexus that has really been released in a branded version that I've seen

They said 4.4 will be on the Moto X but I don't think there's anything that says it will skip 4.3

We are moving directly to 4.4. I dont like to discuss timing. It just puts a lot of stress on the team, and there is always a chance we find something which delays us a bit.
Rest assured, we are on it. You have seen the speed with which we are moving as a Google company, that shall continue.
