Android 4.4 updating help! AT&T S4 with tmobile network

Left ATT and unlocked phone. Now on T-Mobile network with the phone. When I check for update it says up to date but currently running 4.3. Any other way to OTA or do I have to go the root-manual way?

You can't OTA with an unlocked phone. Unless that unlocked phone is on it's original provider. You should be able to use KIES to update though if you don't want to root

Thanks! I tried the Kies and it says the 4.3 is up to date. Guess a root will have to do?

You have to have an active at&t sim card samsung is contractually bound not to release any ota only at&t can do that sorry
