Android 6.0 DP 3 on Verizon Nexus 6?

Hey all, I just purchased a Verizon Nexus 6 on Swappa. I know that Android M DP 3 is currently out and I was wondering, would I be able to install it on my device? The reason I ask is because I see that there is only one download link for DP 3 on the official website. Will this download work with my Verizon phone or will it only work with the unlocked model? Thanks in advance for any help that is provided!

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you (or anyone else) happen to know why there is one build for DP 3 but many different builds for 5.1.1 (such as the one for T-Mobile, the one for Google Fi, the one for nonT-Mobile, etc)? Why does 5.1.1 need carrier/device specific builds whereas 6 has one build for all?

It sounds like the stuff for Fi and WiFi Calling will be baked into a single build going forward, but I have no idea why it wasn't before.
