How quick do you think it will take to get marshmallow on this phone?
I got this phone as nexus alternative because I like having stock android to mess around with but now I'm starting to question that decision since I saw LG was starting to push marshmallow to their phones. I hope we get it soon. It also sucks that they won't be updating the carrier versions, luckily I got the pure edition.

Hard to say, honestly. A year ago Motorola phones were very quick to update, but it took awhile for the 5.1 update to hit the 2014 Moto X for whatever reason. I still suspect we'll see it before many do, but I'm thinking November at the earliest.

For what it's worth, LG's roll-out is starting in Poland so don't be too jealous. It will still take a bit for it to percolate to other countries (especially the US).

As CC stated, LG updated their phone in Poland first last year as well. It then took a few months before it reached any other countries.
